The national environmental radiation monitoring network website www.mesure-radioactivite.fr was launched on 2 February 2010. Co-run by the French Nuclear safety authority (ASN) and the Institute for nuclear safety and radiation protection (iRSN), this citizens information website aggregates a panel of information sources to report on the radiological status of the environment.
Engineered through an innovative first-in-Europe approach, the website centralizes all the measures executed by a panel of different authorities (nuclear operators, public service agencies and associations) to deliver a harmonized set of high-quality data.
