Department of radiation biology research and technical innovation (SREIT)

The SREIT drives the research needed in order to understand how the late effects of radiation therapy - especially cancers - are induced and appear, the aim being to assess the impact on public health. The SREIT also conducts experimental, metabolic and toxicology research in order to assess the effects of internal contamination events and the effectiveness of preventive measures.

Radiotoxicology Laboratory (LRT)

The Radiotoxicology Laboratory studies radionuclide toxicity, in particular that of the transuranium elements used by the nuclear industry. The goal of our studies is to estimate the risks of the induction of radiopathologies posed by internal contamination as a function of dose and distribution within tissues or organs.

Laboratory of Experimental Cancerology (LCE)

Short and long term effects of low dose radiation.
Identification of molecular signatures in ionizing radiation-induced tumors.
Development of new concepts for chips used in transcriptome and proteome analysis

Laboratory of Radiobiology and Genome Studies (LREG)

Etudes fondamentales dans le domaine contractuel d’intérêt commun à l’INRA et au CEA,
Etude de modèles animaux de prédisposition au cancer,
Etude, au niveau cellulaire et moléculaire, des conséquences de l’irradiation cutanée.
