It comprises around 80 research groups (including several at Neurospin and Mircen). The ENP was created by the Ministry of Research 3 years ago as a private foundation sponsored by CEA, CNRS, Inserm, and two universities (UPMC, Paris-Sud 11), now joined by Paris-Descartes, with a total capital close to 18 M€. Since 2007 the ENP has launched several programs: a PhD program open to outstanding students initially trained outside France, start-up support for young group leaders arriving in Paris region (chairs of excellence), sabbatical stays of international scientists in ENP labs, and initial support for post-docs. ENP also funds collaborative research programs and the organization of Symposia, Conferences, Workshops, and Thematic Schools. www.paris-neuroscience.fr |
